Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling
This book is about little kid who has a big scar on his head and wears round glasses.   He finds out he is a wizard and goes to Hogwarts the wizarding school.  He joins the Gryffindor house. Harry tries to stop the evil wizard Voldemort from getting a special stone called the Philosophers Stone. The Philosophers Stone is powerful.

I liked the book a lot and read the second book right away.  I was six when I started reading the Harry Potter Series and it was not too scary.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
This is the second book in the series. This book is about Harry Potter when he finds a message of blood on the wall at Hogwarts: "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened". Harry has to find the Chamber and fight Voldemort.

My favourite part of the book was when Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione took some polyjuice potion to get into the Slytherin house.

This book was exciting.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter is in his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Professor Lupin is his defence against the dark arts teacher. Harry hears people talking about how Sirius Black killed his parents. Sirius Black was sent to the wizard jail Azkaban but he escapes and Harry wants to battle him.

My favourite part of the book was when Harry finds a secret path to Hogsmeade and uses his invisibility cloak to get around.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

Harry is in his fourth year at Hogwarts. The triwizard tournament is being held at Hogwarts and two other wizard schools send students to compete. Only one student from each of the three schools are chosen by the goblet of fire to compete in the tournament. The goblet chooses four students to compete and to face three tasks. During the last task something peculiar happens.

My favourite part is the first task of the tournament.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling

The Order of the Phoenix is an army of wizards created to fight Voldemort.

My favourite part is when Harry Potter goes to the Department of Mystery and has a battle with Voldermort and his forces.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

Harry isn't doing very well at potions but finds the half blood prince's book with all the answers in it.

My favourite part of the book was the attack on Hogwarts where there is  a lot of action.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter has to fight Voldemort in the final battle. He is with his friends Ron and Hermione until he fights Voldemort.

My favourite part of the book is the fight with Voldemort and I also really enjoyed the attack on Hogwarts because it was full of action.

This is the most intense book of the series and my favourite book.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard
Dumbledore leaves Hermione a book called The Tales of Beedle the Bard. This is the book of Fables and contains five different short stories: The Wizard and the Hopping Pot, The Fountain of Fair Fortune, The Warlock's Hairy Heart, Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cacklin Stump and the Tale of Three Brothers.

I read this book a lot: my favourite story is The Wizard and the Hopping Pot but I did not like the Warlock story so much. This is an easy read.
